Miguel Parada Contzen was a student assistant at RLI between May and October 2017. He supported the open_eGo project, helping with the development of low- and medium-voltage level network optimization tools.

Miguel was a doctoral student at the Control Systems Group at TU Berlin with a scholarship from the Chilean Government, receiving his PhD in October 2017. He graduated as an Electronics Engineer in 2009 at Universidad de Concepción, Chile. His research interests include, in particular, micro grids and distributed energy generation, and in general, the control of multi agents, consensus, and switched systems.
