Student assistant


Mohamed is working as a student assistant in the research field Transformation of Energy Systems since April 2017. He is supporting the open_eGo project and is also writing his master’s thesis in distribution grid optimization. His work at RLI focuses on the optimization between distribution network expansion versus energy storage systems in a scenario with a large share of renewable energy in Germany.
Mohamed is currently enrolled in the Energy Engineering Master’s program at TU Berlin Campus El Gouna and already studied Electrical Power and Machines Engineering at Helwan University in Egypt.
