RLI presents decision support techniques for energy systems design

RLI presented part of its work on population-based decision support techniques for energy systems design at this year’s seminar on complex systems held by the scientific panel on environmental and geoscience simulation (Fachgruppe “Simulation in den Umwelt- und Geowissenschaften”) at Hamburg University of Applied Science on April 20-22, 2016.

With its yearly seminar the panel offers a forum for discussing current trends in ecosystems modelling as well as presenting new ideas and approaches to a group of experts. Alexander Wanitschke presented RLI’s approaches and experiences in the field of multi-objective optimization and robustness analysis to the panel. RLI’s contribution fit right in with the panel’s general consensus that more must be done by the scientific community to close the gap between simulation results and socio-political applicability.
