Ayush Sharma was a student assistant in the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy at the RLI from July 2021 until April 2022. He is studying in the Master's programme "Sustainable Urban Development" at the Technical University of Darmstadt and supported the team in the area of analysis and research on greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector.
Ayush completed his Bachelor's degree in Human Geography at the Christian Albrecht University in Kiel. There, he dealt particularly with concepts of environmental justice. He is politically active on the topics of urban development and institutional racism.
