From December 2015 to October 2019, Marlon was a member of the Mobility with Renewable Energies team,
first as a student assistant, then as a full researcher. During his master’s studies at the RWTH Aachen,
he developed a standalone application for the energetic optimization of complex train systems as part of an EU project.
His key strengths lay in Matlab programming, FEM, and CFD modelling and simulation as well as in numerical optimization. In addition, he possessed a broad knowledge in energy production technologies, especially in renewable energy.
