Parag Patil was an intern in the Research Unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI from December 2020 to the end of February 2021. He was enrolled in the Renewable Energy Systems master's degree program at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. Parag supported the team in the development of the Multi-Vector Simulator (MVS), an open-source optimization tool for sector-coupled energy systems, in the context of the E-Land research project.
During his studies at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, Parag was involved in a scientific project named “Energy system modelling of Denmark using OEMOF”. He also worked as a working student on a project called “Energy Atlas for Moluccan Archipelago”, where he supported his team by his contribution in the estimation of solar PV energy generation potential on the Ambon island in Indonesia.
