Closing event Smart Power Flow

Reiner Lemoine Institut invites you to the closing event of the three-year research project Smart Power Flow. Together with our partners, we will present essential results and discuss challenges and successes we encountered.

We are especially happy to welcome Björn Kleinsteinberg from RWTH Aachen, who will add his outsider’s perspective to the project’s conclusion.

In the project Smart Power Flow, a large scale stationary redox-flow battery was integrated into a distribution grid in order to reinforce an electrical network with a high share of renewable energies. The main aim was to quantify which and in what amount network expansion measures can be avoided by using battery storage systems.
