Philipp Blechinger, Head of the Research Unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI, will officially be admitted into the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities at the AGYA Annual Conference in Cairo.
The conference, that is held in cooperation with Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, aims to strengthen the Arab-German research-cooperation and offers a forum for networking and exchange among the researchers.
The AGYA is a cooperation existing since 2013 between the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain. It is the world’s first bilateral Young Academy and is supported mainly by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Qatar Foundation.
