Ciara Dunks has been an intern in the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy at RLI since July 2019. She is enrolled in the master's degree program European Masters in Renewable Energy as part of the EUREC program, hosted by Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Groningen, Netherlands). In context of her work for the project Hystarter, she is writing a thesis on the simulation and optimization of an integrated hydrogen infrastructure for a chosen region in Germany.

Ciara holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Manchester. After her master’s is completed, Ciara wants to work in the sustainable implementation of renewable energy systems in rural areas, particularly with the involvement of hydrogen.
