Online symposium at the Universtity of Delaware

Philipp Blechinger discusses sustainable island energy at the University of Delware. Philipp, who leads RLI’s Off-Grid Systems research unit, will speak on the first panel of the first day. It addresses the questions of how islands can sustainably supply themselves with energy for power and transport, and what role innovations play in this. Philipp’s focus is on resilient energy systems and the transportation transition on islands.

The online symposium is hosted by the Island Policy Lab at the university’s Biden School of Public Policy & Administration. The symposium will run over two days and is dedicated to the overarching theme: science, technology and innovation for sustainable, post-pandemic recovery in U.S. territories.
