Iris Seegelken was a student assistant in the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy at RLI from February 2018 till the end of December 2019. She was enrolled in the master's degree program Environmental and Energy Engineering at Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg. Subsequently to her three-month internship in the same team, she was writing her master’s thesis based on her work within the ElMobileBerlin project. For this, she was focusing on immission measurement of the pollutant nitrogen dioxide and analyzed the correlation between immission and charging infrastructure.

Iris holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Energy Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. Apart from her work at RLI, she was also volunteering in the non-profit organization Engineers Without Borders.
