Jaron Bucka

B.Sc. Aerospace Engineering (FH Aachen)

Student Assistant

Jaron Bucka worked as a student assistant in the RLI Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy from November 2018 to July 2019. He was enrolled in the master's degree program Renewable Energy Systems at the University of Applied Science HTW Berlin. In context of his work for the projects ArguMap and OpRobA_MobEnSys, he was writing his master’s thesis examining different propulsion technologies with so-called Latin Hypercube Sampling for greenhouse gas and cost efficiency.

Jaron holds a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Applied Science Aachen. During his studies, he focused on combustion engine technologies and space flight. His interest in renewable energy led him to his bachelor’s thesis: “Design of a Photovoltaic Island Energy System with a Back-up Generator for Eight-Person Households”.
