Kapil Tiwari was a student assistant in the Research Unit Off-Grid System at RLI from August until the end of October 2021. He was enrolled in the master’s degree program Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Kapil supported the team in developing an open modeling framework for integrated water, energy, food, and eco-system.
Kapil holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), where he wrote his thesis on, ‘Comparison between conventional Activated sludge and Bio-augmentation media application process for the treatment of domestic sewage’. His research fields are accessibility of renewable energy in developing countries, advance wastewater treatment, modelling, and optimization of Energy system with efficient technology.
