Long Night of Sciences 2017

For the first time, the RLI has participatd e in the Long Night of Sciences 2017. On June 24th 2017, more than 70 universities, research institutes, universities of applied science, and technology-oriented companies in Berlin and the Telegrafenberg in Potsdam have opened their doors between 5 p. m.  and midnight. We offered insights into our research for 100 percent renewable energy in the building of WISTA Management GmbH building in Berlin Adlershof.

In order to present our work to the visitors, we decided to offer various events in several fresh “sciencetainment” formats instead of traditional scientific talks. Our focus was on creating a dialog between researchers and guests and for this reason, people had the opportunity to participate in a speed dating, a quiz, and as a highlight an Energy Improvisational theatre. We were thrilled by the number of visitors and hope to see you all again at the Long Night of Sciences 2018.
