Leonard Voges worked as a student assistant at the Reiner Lemoine Institute in the graduate school of the Reiner Lemoine Foundation from April to the end of September 2021. He studied industrial engineering and management in the field of electrical engineering at the TU Berlin. As part of the RLI research project EnergySystemTransformation and in cooperation with the Department of Energy Systems at the TU Berlin, Leonard wrote his master's thesis on the topic: Analysis and evaluation of operating models for battery storage systems in low-voltage networks.

Leonard wrote his bachelor thesis at the TU Berlin as part of the BMWi research project DemandRegio in the Department of Energy and Resource Management in the topic of: The data landscape of German electricity consumption - an analysis of the data situation with regard to spatial and temporal resolution. In addition to his studies, Leonard was employed at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the TU Berlin and supervised the project laboratory as a tutor. During his studies, Leonard focused on the energy industry and the integration of renewable energies from wind and solar.
