Òscar Monés was an intern in the Off-Grid Systems Research Unit at RLI from February until the end of December 2019. He was enrolled in the InnoEnergy double master's degree program Renewable Energy at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden (KTH) and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona (UPC).
Within the team, Òscar was writing a thesis that supported an ongoing PhD research project, contributing to the development of the Inclusive Energy Access Planning toolbox. In particular, the aim of Oscar’s thesis was to develop tools that integrate energy demand and ability to pay in the design of decentralized energy supply.
