Personal Information

Alaadin Alsleman has been a student assistant in the Research Unit Transformation of Energy Systems at RLI since April 2025. Alaadin is studying for a Master’s degree in Renewable Energies at HTW Berlin and works for RLI as part of the ResQEnergy project, in which a climate-resilient energy system model is being developed for the Berlin-Adlershof Science and Technology Park.

Previously, Alaadin worked as a project developer for energy storage and sector coupling at Altus Renewables GmbH and then worked at Joulibra Storage GmbH. Alaadin has extensive theoretical and practical experience in the fields of renewable energies, energy storage and sector coupling.

Alaadin completed their bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to their work at RLI, Alaadin is a group spokesperson for the German Business Foundation and supports their family, who recently fled to Berlin from Syria.
