Feburary 14th, 2023 | Online

At the end of the EnerSHelF project, the consortium will present the project results in a symposium. Since the start of the project in 2019, the team has been working on both technical and political-economic issues to improve and disseminate marketable PV-based energy solutions for healthcare facilities in Ghana.

The work in the project was divided into different work packages. The results of each package will be presented in detail by the scientists and project partners from Germany and Ghana at the symposium.

As part of the project, RLI developed a data-based nationwide electrification strategy of PV hybrid systems for health facilities in off-grid or low-grid areas and surrounding communities in Ghana. This was based on analysis of site-resolved infrastructure data and socio-economic data. The results will be presented by Avia Linke, Katrin Lammers, Andrés Andrade and Catherina Cader from the RLI research area Off-Grid Systems at the event.

The symposium is aimed at scientists, private organizations, government decision-makers and stakeholders working in the field of photovoltaics and the improvement of the Ghanaian health system.
