Former researcher

Info

From November 2017 to November 2019, Jörn Hartmann was a researcher in the RLI research field Mobility with Renewable Energy – he had joined the team as a student assistant in 2014 already. After graduating from the master's program Renewable Energy Systems at HTW Berlin, Jörn worked on the development and optimization of simulation algorithms and mobility scenarios. During his time as a student assistant, he had been supporting the team by developing simulation and analysis methods for energy systems with a focus on the dimensioning of future refuelling and charging infrastructure. Jörn's research focus was on the abstraction and implementation of energy components.

Jörn holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Philipps-Universität Marburg. Previously to his work at RLI, he was a software developer in the solar power industry.
