Final Report: Joint Project ENavi – Energy Transition Navigation System for the Recording, Analysis and Simulation of Systemic Networks

In subproject E1 of the RLI for the joint project ENavi (Energiewende – Navigation System for the Recording, Analysis and Simulation of Systemic Networks), the research focus was on the development and use of license-free, publicly available simulation tools for use in “stakeholder empowering”. The aim was to determine the requirements for such tools as well as the limits and possibilities of their design and to explore the roles that empowerment tools can play in transdisciplinary dialogue.

The Stakeholder Empowerment Tools (StEmp tools) are intended in particular to help local actors in the transformation process of the energy system to understand measures and impacts and thus enable them to participate (pro-)actively in the dialogue and to be able to develop options for action themselves.
