In the course of the energy transition, battery storage systems are also increasingly being used to compensate for fluctuating energy generation through renewable energies. In the household sector, battery storage systems are increasingly being installed for power supply, mainly in combination with a photovoltaic system.
But is their use also worthwhile in the commercial and industrial sector? Can companies’ electricity costs be reduced by using battery storage systems? And which battery storage technology can save the most here?
