Railway stations in urban areas are increasingly being ascribed a role as a connection point for various means of transport and as a place of integration of energy systems in the transport sector.
As part of the “Intelligent Mobility Station” showcase project, Berlin Südkreuz station has established itself as the first test station in Germany to test new technologies, strategies and processes and implement them visibly for station users.
