Use of small wind turbines on buildings in urban areas using the example of Berlin, in: M. Knaut (ed.): Neue Energien. Contributions and Positions of HTW Berlin, Berlin, 2012 (Buddeke et al. 2012)

M. Buddeke, J. Amme und J. Twele

The topic of “new energies” has become more topical than ever after the energy transition in the Federal Republic. This is why, after almost two decades, energy research has established itself as one of HTW Berlin’s largest and most successful profiles.

With exemplary contributions, the publication gives an impression of the diversity of research in the field of energy at the university. The spectrum ranges from sustainable construction and energy-efficient building renovation to the optimization of production and quality management for renewable energy sources to eco-mobility.

Research into modern storage technologies, high-performance grids and the energy-efficient design of products, services and production processes rounds off the spectrum.
