Intersolar Europe Conference 2026

Philipp Blechinger, head of the RLI Research Unit Off-Grid Systems, will design two sessions at the Intersolar Conference. The first session “Off-Grid: Market Outlook and Lessons Learned” will provide an overview of current market trends and forecasts in the field of off-grid energy supply. Philipp will present the RLI tool Offgridplanner. Other experts will share insights, experiences and challenges from projects.

In the second session “Discover how green hydrogen and fuel cell technologies are transforming decentralized energy systems worldwide”, Philipp will present the RLI project Green-H2Islands, in which a hydrogen system will be integrated into the existing renewable energy system on the Thai island of Koh Jik. In the session, other global projects will be presented and participants will discuss how to strengthen energy security and short- and long-term storage options.

Intersolar Europe is the world’s leading trade fair for the solar industry. At the event, experts will exchange views on markets, technologies and financing of PV projects.
