Event “From Heat Plan to Heat Transition”

Christine Kühnel, Managing Director of RLI, will give a keynote speech at the event “From Heat Plan to Heat Transition” on how the heat transition can be driven forward from a scientific perspective and shaped in a socially just way. Other speakers will talk about the results of heat planning and the expansion strategy of district heating, especially in the Berlin district of Tempelhof-Schöneberg.

The Tempelhof-Schöneberg district office invites citizens, initiatives and projects as well as other relevant stakeholders to an exchange on how to shape the successful heating transition as part of this event. The background is the publication of the Berlin Wärmeplan, which the Senate must present by the end of June 2026 at the latest. The event is intended to serve as a public information and orientation opportunity as well as for networking.
