Personal Information
Paula Preuß has been in the RLI research unit Off-Grid Systems since April 2022, first as a student and as a researcher since August 2023. Paula supports the research unit with data analysis, energy system modelling and in the development of web-apps. Within the project “Communities of Practice as driver of a bottom-up energy transition in Nigeria“, Paula helped develop the community-minigrid.ng website, a toolbox to empower non-electrified communities in Nigeria to create their own mini-grid implementation plans through a bottom-up approach.
Paula holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from TU Berlin, with a focus on sustainable product development.
