Realise flexibility potential of EV fleets through grid-serving charging strategies (Meyer et al. 2023)

J. T. Meyer, C. Daam, J. Gemassmer

Making the flexibility of electric vehicles usable for distribution grid operators is of crucial importance. On the one hand, for the further integration of large shares of renewable energy sources into the power system and, on the other hand, for the avoidance of high power loads.

This paper provides a better understanding of the flexibility potential of a nighttime dwell fleet and its use through indirect control systems in conjunction with grid charges.
