EnAvAn – Scientific evaluation of the urban development concept (SEK) of the city Gräfenhainichen
Project description
As a community with economic and demographic change Gräfenhainichen has repeatedly presented concepts that provide a proactive approach to the development of the city. The urban development concept (SEK) “city with new energy” has been updated several times and is action leading to Gräfenhainichen and Ferropolis. In the beginning of 2015, the city Gräfenhainichen has begun updating the SEK within the program Saxony-Anhalt KLIMA.
The supervised and coordinated as a scientific partner, the more month project in the reference and framework for cooperation in energy Avantgarde Anhalt region (EnAvAn) Reiner Lemoine Institute (RLI).
This initially involves the continuation and analysis of statistics extended by the municipal and local government reform unit municipality Gräfenhainichen by RLI.
Based on six individual measures (lots) were developed and advertised within an integrated climate protection concept. In close cooperation with regional partners they have to appoint a common goal to the local economy, energy efficiency and development of renewable energies and preparing concrete measures.
The focus is on the health inspection of the district heating network (Los 1-3) and the expansion of EE on local areas and on the site Ferropolis (Los 4-6).
