Capital city conference on E-mobility 2025

28. May 2025, Berlin

RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer will be speaking at a panel discussion on electric commercial vehicles and their role in the transport transition at the Capital City Conference on Electromobility 2025.

Under the title “Is Berlin ready for the ramp-up of e-commercial vehicles?”, Kathrin will discuss the topic with experts from industry and politics.

The RLI conducted a study on this topic last year. In it, the RLI researchers examined measures to promote the use of battery-powered commercial vehicles in Berlin. The project team identified the necessary steps to reduce CO2 emissions in commercial transport and developed specific recommendations for the expansion of the charging infrastructure.

Experts and representatives from industry, politics and society will be able to discuss charging infrastructure, the transport transition in other major cities, mobility management and the potential of electric commercial vehicles at the Berlin Agency for Electromobility’s (eMo) Capital City Conference on Electromobility.

At an accompanying exhibition, companies and organizations will provide information about projects related to e-mobility. RLI will have a stand at the exhibition. Jakob Wegner, Gombodshaw Boẞ, Raoul Hirschberg, Friederike Reisch and Jakob Gemassmer from the RLI research area Mobility with Renewable Energies will provide information about the RLI project Retail4Multi-Use.

More information on the program and participation can be found on the website of the Capital City Conference on Electromobility. Registration is still possible until May 16.
