Discussion evening: The future of district heating in Berlin

Following the remunicipalization of Berlin’s district heating network, the question arises: How can the network be restructured to ensure a sustainable, environmentally friendly, and socially equitable heat supply?

At the event organized by the Berlin Renewable Alliance, RLI Managing Director Christine Kühnel  will speak about decarbonization in heat supply.

She will be joined in discussion by Berlin Senator for Economic Affairs Franziska Giffey, Susanne Huneke, Head of Strategy, Policy, and Regulation at BEW, Markus Kamrad, Director of the Berlin Consumer Advice Center, and Neelke Wagner, Coordinator of Berlin Erneuerbar and Climate Justice Advisor at PowerShift.
