E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium
October 8 | Helsinki |
Julian Brendel and Paul Scheer, researchers in the RLI unit Mobility with Renewable Energy, will present a joint paper at the 8th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium 2024 in Helsinki.
The two scientists will present the publication entitled ‘Charging Strategies for Electric Bus Fleets: A Pathway to Grid-Friendly and Cost-Efficient Operations’. In their paper, they talk about strategies for the efficient charging of electric bus fleets that can be designed to be both grid-friendly and cost-efficient. Julian will also give a keynote speech at the event on the current status of grid integration of electric mobility in Germany, entitled: ‘E-mobility grid integration in Germany: Current situation, challenges and opportunities’.
The symposium is a platform for dialogue on the integration of electromobility and the impact on the design and operation of electricity systems. Participants will discuss the challenges posed by the increasing electricity demand resulting from the charging of electric vehicles and how these can be overcome.
