Final webinar SEDOS
28. March 2025, Online
The webinar “SEDOS – The importance of sector integration in the context of the energy transition in Germany – modeling with a national open source reference energy system” marks the conclusion of the SEDOS project. Together with the project partners TU Munich, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, German Aerospace Center – Institute of Networked Energy Systems and Projektträger Jülich, RLI will present the results of the three-year research project in this webinar.
Specifically, the webinar will cover the SEDOS philosophy and model structure, the developed SEDOS database, exemplary SEDOS applications and possible uses of SEDOS.
Over the course of three years, the project team has created a large reference data set. This was published on the OEP and also on the Databus. Hendrik Huyskens, researcher in the RLI research unit Transformation of Energy Systems, will present this data and explain how it can be downloaded and used.
The webinar is open to all interested parties. Registration is not necessary.
About SEDOS: The SEDOS project aims to better reflect sector integration in energy system models and to make the models more comparable by means of open data. Together with partner organizations, RLI researchers are developing a sector-integrated energy system model for Germany and calculating selected scenarios for the transformation of the energy system. SEDOS is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
