Future Forum Green Hydrogen 2026

Kathrin Goldammer, Managing Director of RLI, will present the panel discussion on “Hydrogen, Competitiveness, and Decarbonization Diplomacy” at the German Foreign Office’s 4th Future Forum Green Hydrogen. Kathrin will discuss this topic with Joan Groizard, State Secretary for Energy, Spain,  Stefan Rouenhoff, Parliamentary State Secretary, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Nils Aldag, CEO, Sunfire and Mikaa Blugeon-Mered, Canada Research Chair in Clean Hydrogen.

Among other things, the panel participants will discuss how countries can build competitive hydrogen industries and which diplomatic strategies can help prevent new dependencies and promote resilient supply chains.

The Future Forum Green Hydrogen is organized as part of the German Foreign Office’s H2-diplo initiative and brings together international decision-makers to discuss ways to achieve a competitive, climate-neutral, and geopolitically balanced hydrogen economy. Under the title “Economic Growth and Resilience through Decarbonization: Success Factors for the European Hydrogen Industry in the Global Market Place,” representatives from politics, diplomacy, business, and science will discuss the role of hydrogen in climate neutrality, competitiveness, and economic resilience.
