Mobility Conference 2026

21. April 2026, Vienna

Jakob Gemassmer, head of the RLI Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy, will be present at the mobility conference in Vienna. Jakob will moderate the side event on the topic “What accelerates the electrification of heavy commercial vehicles? – Expert discussion within the framework of the STELE platform”. Jakob will present the networking platform STELE and the influence it had on the electromobility industry last year. STELE is intended to network players working on the integration of electromobility. RLI has set up the platform as part of a consortium for the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund and is leading the consortium.

This will be followed by a panel discussion with stakeholders from the mobility and energy industries, who will discuss accelerators and barriers to electrification.

The mobility conference is organised by the Austrian Bundesministerium für Klimaschutz, Umwelt, Energie, Mobilität, Innovation und Technologie (BMK). The aim of the event is to bring together experts, innovators and interested parties to discuss solutions and current developments in the mobility transition.
