Personal Information
Philipp Diesing is part of the Graduate School of the Reiner Lemoine Foundation at the RLI since January 2022. In cooperation with LUT University in Finland, he writes his thesis on the decarbonization of the German industrial sector.
Philipp did his master’s degree at Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg in the field of Sustainable Energy Systems. He focused particularly on electrochemical energy conversion and storage. During his year abroad in Lappeenranta, southern Finland, he worked in a team together with international scientists and completed his master’s thesis on energy system modeling for a 100% renewable energy system for Great Britain and Ireland.
Philipp also worked in cooperation with the British NGO “100% Renewable UK”.
