Travelling Conference SEA2

Project description

The “Travelling Conferences” are a series of projects funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research in which experts from Germany give lectures on current research topics. This is intended to provide a platform for forming a basis for future cooperation with international partners.

RLI will coordinate a traveling conference on renewable energy for sustainable energy supply in Southeast Asia. Together with German partners from science and practice, RLI travels to Yangon (Myanmar), Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and Vientiane (Laos) to conduct workshops at the international partner institutes. In the short term, the workshops are intended to identify research needs and cooperation potentials with local institutes together with all participants. In the long term, the aim is to establish partnerships for joint future project developments.

For RLI, three experts travel to the destinations to present the workshops.

project duration: 01.11.2018 – 28.02.2019
