Scenario calculation of an electricity and heat supply of the Brandenburg-Berlin region based on renewable energies
Jochen Twele, Berit Müller, Caroline Möller
The present study examines in two parts how the electricity and heat supply of the Brandenburg-Berlin region can be converted to renewable energies. This means that the region, which is already strongly connected, is regarded as a supply region across political borders. At the same time, the inclusion of the heat supply, for which about 2.5 times as much final energy is used compared to electricity generation, should make it possible to consider the interfaces and possible applications of renewable energies in a broader spectrum. The scenarios created with different shares of renewable energies extend into the years 2020 and 2030.
