May 17th – 18th 2017 | Brussels
European Commission
The RLI is organizing the first Conference „Energy Modelling Platform – Europe“ (EMP-E) in context of the REEEM-Project, together with the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology. The objective of the conference is to provide a peer-reviewed digest of model and policy insights for European energy scenario projects.
EMP-E is going to take place annually and has been created based on a suggestion by the Horizon 2020 Advisory Group on Energy to set up a European forum for energy modelling. Key themes to be highlighted in the 2017 meeting are the Energy Union and its transition, transparency, scenario definitions, and the SET Plan.
The conference will be hosted by the European Commission in Brussels. Berit Müller, RLI Head of the Research Field Transformation von Energiesystemen is chairing the organization committee. Please find further information on the conference here.
