User Group Meeting “Decentralized Energy Supply – Smart Grids”

Oliver Arnold, Head of the Team Mobility with Renewable Energy, is participating in the user group meeting “Decentralized Energy Supply – Smart Grids” at Leipzig University. His presentation is titled “Vehicle to Grid – intelligent load management through connected vehicles” and will focus on the different charging methods and available power for private cars and commercial vehicles. He will also talk about chances and challenges in context of Vehicle to Grid. He will show, how efficient planning processes for charging infrastructure can be achieved.
The user group meeting is taking place within the framework of the “Energieforen”, which offer a platform for exchange between energy researchers, businesses, and technology partners. The user group “Decentralized Energy Supply – Smart Grids” meets for the 15th time and focuses on smart grids, grid technology, energy storage systems, Smart Metering, e-mobility, new business models for smart grids, as well as acceptance and general conditions for grid expansion.
