February 12th 2018 | Berlin

WindNODE is one of five joint research projects that are funded within the SINTEG Initiative (Showcase Intelligent Energy – Digital Agenda for the Energy Transition) by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). It focuses on integrating large quantities of renewable energy into an energy grid that should be optimized for all energy sources and sectors such as power, heat, and mobility. The mobile exhibition WindNODE Live! is one big part of the dissemination of the project’s results – it visualizes the diverse aspects of the energy transition as a “walk-in  directory”. The exhibition is hosted by Berlin Partner and will be on display at various locations during the project duration of WindNODE.

Berit Müller, head of the RLI research field Transformation of Energy Systems and Elisa Gaudchau, project head WindNODE at RLI, will represent the Institute at the opening of the exhibition. The event will also give the over 70 partner institutions the opportunity to exchange on the current state of their particular projects and provide each other with information.

Please find further information about the exhibition on the Berlin Partner Website.
