26th February, 2021
Virtual conference

At the conference “Energy Futures – Emerging Pathways in an Uncertain World?” of the Leibniz Research Alliance on Energy Transitions on February 26, RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer will give a Keynote speech. Kathrin is a member of the advisory board of the Research Alliance.

During the final conference “Energy Futures – Emerging Pathways in an Uncertain World?”, the interdisciplinary research of the Research Alliance of the last six years on clean energy transitions will be presented and discussed with regard to the future. In particular, this will be done from various social scientific angles, covering questions of energy justice, energy governance, energy education and energy research. The focus will be on these two questions: Where are clean energy transitions heading? How can researchers grasp energy futures?

The conference is aimed at researchers from all disciplines and countries interested in exploring theoretical conceptualizations of the future and ways to implement new technologies or new low-carbon lifestyles. It will take place online from February 22 to 26.
