Martha Hoffmann, member of the RLS Graduate School „EnergySystemTransition“ of the Reiner Lemoine Foundation, will give a talk at the Second Young Scientists Dialogue of the German Japanese Energy Transition Council (GJETC). The topic of the presentation is the consideration of inequality and justice in energy policy research. Following the public call for papers, the Council selected and accepted Martha’s abstract.
Martha will talk about how energy models can be used to display social impacts and calls on both researchers and policymakers to take them more into account when assessing and planning future energy scenarios.
For the second time, the Young Scientists Dialogue invites young scientists who specialize in the energy transition in Germany and/or Japan. The aim of the event is to facilitate an exchange on an equal level: The scientists from different fields present their work and research results and their findings are incorporated into the Council.
