RLI Managing Director Christine Kühnel will take part in a panel discussion at the East German Economic Forum on the topic of “Can the energy transition move faster?”.

The aim of the panel discussion is to look for ways in which companies or federal, state or local politicians can make a meaningful contribution to accelerating the energy transition.

The motto of this year’s East German Economic Forum is “fast forward”. Topics will include how the expansion of renewable energies can succeed at the necessary speed, how mobility and logistics can be organized sustainably and how manufacturers and suppliers can adapt to the technological upheaval.

Eastern Germany in particular is able to record investments in industrial settlements, whether in microelectronics, mobility or in the field of power generation and storage, and the dynamics at the location are great. At the same time, the question arises as to the social consequences of the transformation.
