RLI attends dena Power-to-Gas Annual Convention
June 22nd 2016 – Reiner Lemoine Institut (RLI) has attended the dena Power-to-Gas Annual Convention on 21st June in Berlin. Visitors found information on Power-to-Gas and hydrogen as fuel at the RLI stand and used the opportunity to discuss with our researchers from the team “Mobility with Renewable Energy” about new developments and current projects from their field of research.
RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer participated in a panel discussion themed “Connecting sectors with Power-to-Gas”. With her on the panel was (among others) Robert Habeck, Minister of Energy, Agriculture, the Environment, and Rural Areas of Schleswig-Holstein.
Dena presented their “Power-to-Gas Potential Atlas” at the convention. The atlas offers an overview in which way Power-to-Gas could be used and what general conditions would be necessary for this. It also identifies regions in Germany that provide the best conditions for Power-to-Gas markets. The RLI is one of 25 partners who developed the atlas. It is available for download here.
