German experience with renewable energies for vehicles presented in China
July 2nd 2016 – Florian Schaller, researcher in the e-mobility research group at RLI, has participated in the conference “Synergetic Development of New-energy Power Generation and Electric vehicles” on July 1st 2016 in Beijing.
The RLI has been invited as an expert by GIZ to present the current status of renewable energy and e-mobility research in Germany. Florian illustrated this by portraying selected research projects, such as the RLI project “Intelligent Mobility Station: Train station Berlin Suedkreuz“.
The conference aimed at presenting current Chinese developments in e-mobility research and the „New Energies“ – meaning renewables and nuclear power – and discuss potential synergy effects. Experts from both fields of research, politicians and business representatives were invited. In a final panel discussion, Florian added perspectives and challenges that Germany experienced in the energy and vehicle sector as well as user participation.
