RLI at EnviroInfo 2016
September 19 2016 –The EnviroInfo 2016 is the 30th edition of the long standing and established international and interdisciplinary conference series on leading environmental information and communication technologies. It took place from September 14th to 16th 2016 in Berlin.
This year, Kathrin Goldammer, RLI managing director, gave a keynote speech about “Why We Need Energy Policy to Drive Innovation”. She pointed out that steering has a huge impact on technological innovations, especially in the field of energy politics. One example is the German environmental law (EEG).
In addition, Reiner Lemoine Institute organized the Special Track „Energy System Modelling – Barriers, Challenges and Good Practice in Open Source Approaches“. The workshop was planned in cooperation with our partners ZNES and NEXT ENERGY in context of the project open_eGo.
