Conference on control power at RLI

September 7th 2016 – It is difficult to say whether or not it was the biggest “Strommarkttreffen” that ever happened. Nevertheless, this conference was a big success.

“Strommarkttreffen” is an open network consisting of energy experts from science, politics and economy. Usually, there is one workshop every month, taking place at different locations in Berlin. This month’s conference took place at the Reiner Lemoine Institute in Schöneweide, covering more than 100 participants.

RLI managing director Kathrin Goldammer gave an introductory speech about balancing group management, whereas Rita Kunert presented first results of her master thesis, concerning the optimization of a Redox Flow battery at the primary operating reserve market.
