Catherina Cader, head of the research unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI, will participate in a panel discussion on the topic “Humanising the energy transition” during the 5th Vienna Dialogue on Energy Security. The discussion focusses issues such as ensuring an affordable and equitable energy transition or the role of inclusion and diversity.
The fifth edition of the dialogue deals with current challenges in the topic of energy security from an economic, political and socio-economic perspective in times of crisis. How are the current global crises affecting the energy sector? Will it be able to cope with the tensions? To discuss these and other questions, three expert panels will be held with the following topics:
- The future of oil and gas
- The green energy revolution
- Humanising the energy transition
At the Dialogue, jointly organized by the OSCE and the Austrian Committee of the World Energy Council, the organizers would like to bring together decision-makers from business, politics, science and civil society to discuss the opportunities and challenges of the energy transition.
