9th Congress Energy Autonomous Municipalities

Freiburg | On 14 February 2020, Dr. Kathrin Goldammer, Managing Director of the RLI, will speak at the practise forum “Climate Change or Climate Crisis? Successful communication strategies for the municipal energy transition” and will speak on the main topic “Tools instead of stagnation – Stakeholder Empowerment Tools”. The practise forum is part of the congress “Energy Autonomous Municipalities”, which will take place for the 9th time on 13 and 14 February in Freiburg.

Municipalities can play a key role in climate protection, be it in heat planning for an efficient decarbonised heat supply or concrete energy efficiency measures. During a total of 16 practise forums and 3 workshops, participants from the fields of municipal administration, energy industry, housing industry, trade, industry and citizens’ cooperatives will be able to inform themselves and exchange information on various topics of energy system transformation at municipal level.
