AI Energy Summit
22. September 2026, Augsburg
Juliane Arriens, head of the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energies, is a speaker at the AI Energy Summit in Augsburg. With the growing share of renewable energies, increasing complexity and short response times, grid operation characterized by fixed rules is increasingly reaching its limits. As part of the panel, various experts will give lectures and discuss topics such as the use of AI in the energy system to date, the significance of the paradigm shift for operational network management and its consequences. Juliane will give the lecture: “From Fixed Rules to Learning Models: How AI Changes the Logic of Network Operation”.
The AI Energy Summit brings together decision-makers from the fields of energy, industry, infrastructure and AI. The focus is on how AI can be applied in a practical way in companies, in grids and in energy generation and trading.
